La Paz City Tour and Valley of the Moon
The city of La Paz is the most important city of Bolivia .It is located at the northwest side of
the country, at an elevation of 3.600 m and has an approximate population of one million inhabitants.
As Bolivia administrative capital, it is the center of the activities of the central government and
the parliament, as well as the most important financial district of the country. During 4 hours we

Coroico
Departure at 9:00 A.M. from La Paz. By private 4WD we will drive up a high mountain pass (4640m) descending into the cloud forests and eventually the subtropical vegetation of the Yungas. On the way we can make some stops to take pictures of the unique eco-systems of this area or enjoy the stunning views. Coroico is situated at 96 kilometer from La Paz situated on a hill overlooking the surrounding valleys at an altitude of 1740 meter. At noon we will arrive in Coroico. There we will have lunch. Near Coroico we will visit a coca plantation, fruit-bearing trees of orange, mandarin, papaya, mangos, banana. Also you will have time to walk around this friendly town.

Coroico Rafting
We leave at 8:30 a.m. by 4WD from La Paz to our private Eco-lodge Las Cascadas in that is located on the road from Coroico to Caranavi. We will get down to the river to prepare ourselves for the white water rafting / kayaking. Our specialized guides will explain his orders of control and give a safety talk. The rafting or kayaking takes approximately 3 hours. We will go through some fine canyons, where you can fully appreciate the splendour of this subtropical area. Then we bring you to an impressive waterfall where you can take a bath or dive through the waterfall. After lunch we return to La Paz.

Uyuni Salt Flats
Day 1 - La Paz - Uyuni
Morning ( 8:30 a.m. ) depart by private vehicle for Uyuni passing the typical Altiplano on our
way to the Salar we will pass great and desolated prairies, Poopó Lake and many small towns.
Lunch on the route. Finally we will arrive in afternoon at the Salar of Uyuni, the greatest
salt flat that exist in the world with a surface of 12,000 Square km. The lake was formed millions
of years ago and was once connected with the ocean. Soon we get to Uyuni we spend the night.

Day 2 - Uyuni Salt Flats
After breakfast we leave to the Uyuni Salt flats and we stop in Colchani where the people of the
town prepared the salt also will appreciate handy crafts made out of salt .We keep going finding
eyes of the salt flats and visit the salt hotel, to continue our journey we will appreciated the
beautiful landscape and get to Jijira located on the Thunupa volcano.left Coquera to. Is without
doubt one of, more impressive landscapes of the world, without trail some. The Salar is a dry Lake
and shining more extensive than Titicaca Lake whose surface lasts becomes a mirror during the time
of rains. This overwhelming spectacle is difficult to imagine. In an impressive route we will visit
mummies, and make a long walk by the Viewpoint of Thunupa, stroll to borders of the Salar.
The Fish Island is in the center of the Salar and offers a 360 Vista of º on the Andean, desert
tips and mountains. There is as well some remarkable fauna that evolved in the area of this hostile

Day 3 - Uyuni Salt Flats - La Paz

Day 2 - Isla del Pescado - San Juan

Day 3 - San Juan - Laguna Colorado
After breakfast (in the hotel) we will continue our journey Southwards, towards the
Chilean border. On the road we will get to see spectacular rocks, plains of salt and volcanic landscapes.
We will visit the following lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, Ramadita where we can observe one of the three
species of Flamingos that populate these lakes. Also we will see the Stone tree (Arbol de Piedra) and
the photogenic Laguna Colorada where you can walk around looking for the flamingos. Dinner and accommodation
in a refuge next to the Laguna Colorada. Over night at the hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 4 - Laguna Colorado - Laguna Verde – Alota
Early in the morning (at 5:00 AM) we will first visit Sol de la Mañana at 4850m-high geyser basin
with bubbling mud pots, thermal hot springs and at last Laguna Verde & Laguna Blanca where the
volcano adjacent to the Licancabur volcano. Later on we will continue to the town of Alota,
passing the valley of the rocks with its bizarre eroded rock formations. We spend the night in a modest hotel and have dinner.

Day 5 - Alota - Potosi
After breakfast we will return to Uyuni, We will cross the valley of the rocks. The last sight of
interest is the train cemetery. Lunch in Uyuni. Late in the afternoon we will arrive in Potosi,
where we will be accommodated in a comfortable hotel. Dinner in Potosí.

Day 6 - City Tour Potosi
We visit either the mine Paylaviri or the Cooperative mine, where we observe the different forms
and levels from the exploitation of the minerals. Later that day we visit the most important churches
of Potosí, such as San Francisco, Santa Teresa, Portada de San Lorenzo, Arcos de Cobija followed by
a walk through the colonial streets of the city. After lunch we visit the famous one Casa de la Mooned,
called: El Scoria de America. We spend the night in Potosí.

Day 7 - Potosi - La Paz Early morning after breakfast depart by private vehicle for return to La Paz a journey
